A total trip down memory lane. Wow, I got the NES when I was four and my parents wanted this gaming device to have SOME kind of educational quality. Did it work? Well, maybe I was able to understand the games after learning some in school and this was practice…
Anyway, Sesame Street 123 and ABC are two games which still have a place in my heart. I remember the songs so well. Maybe too well? Match the shapes with Ernie and a very critical rabbit. Count aliens with Grover. The Moon shook its head when you made a mistake. Unite a rubber ducky through hoops and craziness to a bathing Ernie.
Then there was this Ferris Wheel game that made you feel pretty lousy when you messed up. Letters bouncing unhappy and the music laid it on. When you spelled a letter right, everyone came out of their Carny camps and celebrated, yeah! Awesome!
Ah, great…
